Since 1994 I have been working with computers, computer networks and the World Wide Web. At first it was simple office work, however this quickly escalated into a full-time passion for knowing just how things work and making it happen that made me take a job in 1995 doing technical support over the phone for AT&T WorldNet Services, by then an ascending force in the dial-up internet access business. At the same time, I started learning HTML and building my own website, which would take me to a position as a technical support representative for AT&T’s Easy World Wide Web Services, helping individuals and small businesses build and maintain their web sites. Two and a half years later, in 1998, the company decided to move its support operations to the East Coast, so I decided to leave in search of other opportunities. I quickly landed a position doing technical support for Toyota Motor Sales‘ headquarters in Torrance, CA, only this time support was personal. I worked doing support for 500+ users at Toyota’s data center, where I gained a valuable experience in enterprise networking and servers. At the same time, I started working after hours for small businesses through referrals, hoping that it would open the path for more independent work. That went on until a nice project involving installing and administering Linux servers at the more than 1200 Toyota and Lexus’ dealerships came along. This project took my next two years, and I continued growing my clientele after hours so by the time the project was finished in 2001, I was ready for my next big project: my own consulting business.
From here on
Since 1994 I have been working providing many small business owners with excepcional value in their data, networking and website operations, applying all the knowledge gained in the IT field in previous years to help them achieve their business goals. My goal is to help you do the same for your business.
